This is my starting point. My brother, sister and mother all live there now, and I am buying the van from a dealership in Burnopfield, not far away. Pick up day is the 2nd of May, 2006.
Hexham is a pleasant little town, in a valley in the hills above Newcastle. All the buildings are stone, the main street is traffic-free, and in the centre is a beautiful abbey church with parts dating back to Saxon times.
As it turned out, the van was not ready as promised, and it was a frustrating three more days before I could pick it up. It's a nice Van though, and worth the wait.
